that sorta sounds like me except i like more ska music, less anime and game ost remix music, and i have more european dance club music on my pandora for some reason i can’t totally figure out

I’m sorry sir but your music taste is too fresh to be in the Music Lovers Shame Cube

pinstripehourglass replied to your post: unpop opinion but I dislike some of the more recent homestuck albums

You sound like a punk rocker, Leos.

Yeah I have 0% credibility as a music lover, my last.fm compatibility with all my more cultured friends is in the single digits, I grew up on 90s alt rock/metal, remixes/orchestral renditions of snes/ps1 games, anime soundtracks when I was in my teens, pop music (I LIKE Ke$ha, Kanye, Minaj, Black Eyed Peas, etc) and “mainstream” techno artists like Ratatat and Glitch Mob

If I know you chances are you have waaaaaaay better music tastes than me

but yeah I have homestuck music opinions who knew

unpop opinion but I dislike some of the more recent homestuck albums

I mean they sound really artistic and nice and there are a few gems but

I guess I’m just not a fan of something that mostly sounds like very pleasant ambient noise with only a few notes and minimal rhythm or beats or structure

and the other ones are just rehashes/remixes/callbacks of two year old songs that were in the canon flashes which, like I said, sound cool but it gets old

or like, it’ll be the same few notes over and over again repeated with VERY minimal variation which is fine in songs with vocals but with instrumental tracks you have to work harder to get variation otherwise it just sounds really grating and unpleasant and kind of a pain to listen to?

I can’t really articulate it that well because I’m don’t know shit about music but yeah

I did this my whole life living in Texas, you would put on your turn signal, they’d take your foot off the gas and you could go in, and if you couldn’t the next guy would let you in

then I moved to California, where I had to drive through Orange County every day, I soon realized all bets were off.  People just do NOT give two fucks if your turn signal is on or off.  They will NOT give you room, and if you expect to wait for the California drivers to give you enough space you will NEVER get into the lane you want because in California it is apparently a requirement that all cars drive 24 inches from each other

welcome to California, where being an asshole is MANDATORY

(also they have guys on motorcycles weaving through traffic LITERALLY 90 miles an hour, and will ride for miles ON the lines, and then they have the nerve to put up a zillion “WATCH FOR MOTORCYCLISTS” signs everywhere jesus christ)

"The big secret about the golden age of “male providers” is that it never existed. First, women have always worked. Second, and just as importantly, there have always been men who were too poor, too queer, too sensitive, too disabled, too compassionate or simply too clever to submit to whatever model of “masculinity” society relied upon to keep its wars fought and its factories staffed. “Traditional masculinity”, like “traditional femininity”, is a form of social control, and seeking to reassert that control is no answer to a generation of young men who are quietly drowning in a world that doesn’t seem to want them."

We need to talk about masculinity

This is how you warrior.

UGH. YES. LADIES IN PROPER ARMOR.

The two watercolor ones are by Marian Churchland, who is THE BEST

the one with a reclining redhead is by Sang Han

From what I can tell, the rest are official art from various games.

So I was browsing this guys homestuck music videos on youtube and there’s this one he made using other people’s fanart and then I found this gem
“I’m not ok with people copying things” “I don’t like it when they don’t think for themselves” HAHA YOU ARE USING ANOTHER PERSON’S SONG AND OTHER PEOPLE’S FANART (THAT YOU EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE YOU ARE NOT CREDITING) FOR ANOTHER PERSON’S WEBCOMIC
hahahahahahaha
I’m not linking the video but if anyone cares they can probably find it

So I saw a post on how American Apparel markets unisex clothing, but I couldn’t actually find a unisex section on their website. I did however notice this. The sweatshirts one is particularly illuminating.

Selling men’s clothes to men, and selling women’s bodies to… ?

American Apparel is really fucking horrible for many, many reasons, but here’s another example.
